What and where is the event?

A sprint distance triathlon (400m pool swim, 17k bike, 5k run) based at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.  Don’t fancy doing the whole thing?  No problem!  You can enter the triathlon as a relay team (teams of 2 or 3 people) or miss out the bike section and take on the swim and run – an aquathlon!  The event is permitted by British Triathlon.

How big is it?

The field is limited to 150 competitors.  Absolutely perfect for your first event, or as a season opener!

What is the course like?

The course is very similar to that used by Pembrokeshire Leisure for the former Go Tri events staged here until 2019.  You can view the bike course here. The run is four laps: the first three laps use this course, the final lap is just a little different at the end.

Is it suitable for novices?

It certainly is!  A pool based sprint triathlon is the perfect event to give triathlon a go, and with aquathlon and relay options there is something for everyone.

What is the minimum age?

You need to be 15 or over on 31/12/2026.

How much is it to enter?

£30 (individuals), £35 (relay teams), £25 (aquathlon)

 That sounds like good value! Is everything included?

Yep! The entry fee is fully inclusive of the following:

 • Booking fee
• Tyvek race number
• Electronic chip timing
• Medal
• Prizes (these will be very modest!)
• Electronic event photos
